This is a Jungle Vacation home in Masinagudi, Tamil Nadu. It is an exclusive home for our client who is passionate about wildlife and wanted to build a home for himself to use it 5- 6 times a year. House is set in 20 acre plot where animals like elephants, wild dogs,bears, deer etc, frequent.   we have conceptualized a home which is suitable to the context of jungle on one side and mountain on the other,  also to suit clients lifestyle. House is divided into three blocks with a connecting element of a large deck of about 13000sft which is flanked by houses on three sides and swimming pool with infinity edge on the fourth. Deck and the pool is oriented  to give a panaromic view of jungle so that one can sit on the deck and enjoy the pool and is able to view any animals passing by. being sensitive to the environment we have used natural material thatch, stone, local wood, locally sourced. Also solar power has been used to make the building energy efficient. all light fitting are low energy consumption type.
